Star has changed quickly, just like much of the Treasure Valley. New neighborhoods, new businesses, and major transportation projects continue to shape the community.
But the things that make Star special are still easy to recognize. Families gather at the parks. Neighbors line the streets for the Hometown Celebration parade. Kids fish, swim, play sports, and grow up making memories along the Boise River.
We’re proud to be part of Star, and we’re proud to help our neighbors make cleanup projects a little easier.
A Small-Town Community in a Fast-Growing Valley.
Star sits along State Highway 44, with State Highway 16 becoming an increasingly important north-south connection through the central Treasure Valley. Those long-term transportation improvements are helping connect Star with nearby communities while supporting continued residential and commercial growth.
Rather than listing every new restaurant or construction announcement, this guide focuses on what lasts: Star’s community spirit, outdoor spaces, local traditions, and the kinds of home projects that come with a growing city.
Real Places. Real Memories. Our Hometown.
These aren’t stock photos. They’re moments our family has experienced in the community we’re proud to call home.
