Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore
DETAILED ACCEPTANCE RULESReStore accepts many reusable construction and remodeling materials, but size, condition, and quantity requirements matter.
Lumber, plywood, siding, roofing materials, unused insulation, qualifying drywall, bricks, blocks, sealed concrete products, cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, doors, windows, fencing, and irrigation supplies.
Materials generally need to be reusable and free from rot, rust, mold, major water damage, and other serious defects. Hardware may need to be sorted.
Review the official acceptance list first. Larger donations and pickup requests should be arranged directly with ReStore.

Special Disposal Items Need a Different Plan.
Paint, chemicals, fuels, pesticides, solvents, batteries, and similar hazardous materials may require a designated household hazardous-waste program rather than donation or a standard dumpster.
Working units may be accepted by some donation organizations, but nonworking refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and other refrigerant-containing appliances can require special handling.
Acceptance varies by organization and device type. CRT televisions and monitors are especially restricted. Check the receiving organization before loading your vehicle.
When an item is not suitable for donation, confirm the correct disposal or recycling method before placing it in a dumpster. If you are unsure whether Huckleberry can accept an item, call or text Bill at 208-402-8954.
